Alon Shoval is an award-winning Creative Director and Copywriter with over 30 years of experience spanning Europe, South America and the USA. He has worked with some of the world’s most renowned brands and advertising agencies.

A winning Creative Director

As Y&R’s European Creative Director for five years, Alon worked on major brands including Nintendo, AT&T, and Xerox. His next move saw him crossing the Atlantic to join Wells, Rich, Greene BDDP in New York, where his creative leadership won the Heineken account and shaped the ‘Red Star’ campaign, still running in various forms today.

Alon continued to innovate and win at agencies like GSD&M in Austin, Hal Riney in San Francisco, and The Martin Agency in Richmond, where he led successful campaigns for brands like Morgan Stanley, Nespresso, and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Throughout his career, Alon has consistently been a writer first, bringing a conceptual approach to crafting stories that resonate with audiences, whether through words, images, or music.

Alon was Creative Director at Hill Holliday in New York, where he led the agency to 11 consecutive new business wins and picking up numerous prestigious awards. Other roles included Creative Director at Translation in New York, where he led campaigns for Jeep and Kaiser Permanente.

At Arts & Letters Creative Co. in Richmond, he helped grow the agency from a small team to a 185-person powerhouse, working on campaigns for Google, Netflix, and Vice. Later work at Deutsch NY included creating a global launch campaign for Tata Consultancy Services and a rebrand for Cetaphil, showcased his versatility and global reach.
